Hello
I recently drop my phone into the water. Everything work beside the sound reciever, now I can't call other people because they can't hear me. Where can I find the part? Where will replace this part for me?

Other people can't hear you proves that your MIC is broken. The microphone of M8 is on the USB board, so you may need to try to replace M8 USb board at first.

But if it still fail, you maybe need to check the motherboard connector. So hope the USB board replacement works.

My Htc e8 mic only works on speaker: other people can not hear me unless I turn on the speaker phone. What's the problem?

I chatted with HTC guys and they claim custom ROM installed is the problem.

If you dropped it into the water and dont open it up and clean all the parts with alcohol and an ultrasonic cleaner it will probably show more issues later on when corrosion sets in.
