In the main menu, scroll down to settings
From settings select About

Go to the iPod icon in FINDER. Right click and select GET INFO. Look at capacity to determine 8 GB or 16 GB.

I thought most iPods had their capacity inscribed on the back. You can also connect your iPod to your computer and see how much memory you have. It will probably tell you a smaller number than 8 or 16, because you can only use a portion of those numbers for storage.

I've charged it about an hour it won't go to settings,or I don't know where to find it. It stays on music cover flow artist songs videos TV shows I can't get it to do what it's supposed to do. Especially charge

What if you don't have a charger to turn it on? How do you know then?
