Not Asked To Register In iTunes!

Hi, I have a 32GB iPad Wi-fi, when I unboxed it and connected it to itunes it didnt ask me to register it. It was a new still in Shrink Wrap iPad fresh from the apple website.

This is not repair related and thus off topic- a Wi-Fi device will not require registration.
