After screen replacement zero signal bars. What's wrong?

I replaced the screen with a new combined screen/digitizer/frame assembly on the Nexus 4. To do this, you need to essentially fully disassemble the phone, and then move all the components onto the new screen assembly. I put it together, and everything works, except zero signal bars, so no phone/text/data. But wifi works fine.

I left the phone on, and in the middle of the night, a couple of texts arrived. So it seems that it's working except for (almost) no signal. But I don't think it's that white antenna cable, because wifi is working. Anyone have any idea what might be wrong? Where is the actual phone (not wifi) antenna?

(The antenna cables are cheap, so I ordered one -- I'm going to try replacing that and seeing if that improves anything. But I'm still looking for other ideas).

(Replaced the white antenna wire, but no improvement -- must be something else. Let me know if you have any suggestions).
