Somewhat bricked, wont turn on. tried factory reset. any tips?
So my phone was working fine this morning i charged it over night and used as an alarm clock this morning; i noticed it only had half a charge which i thought was weird but i didn't think much of it at that point. i also charged it on my way to class and i don't think it charged. about half way through the day it died due to terrible battery life. i get hope and attempt to charge it. for the first hour it would vibrate every 5 seconds (i counted it out) but wouldnt turn on. after an hour it stopped vibrating and still wouldnt turn on (NOTE: for a second or 2 i could see the logo sometimes). about an hour later it was completely unresponsive to anything i did (NOTE: i doubt its a battery issue if because i took out the battery and plugged in the phone and tried to turn it on which usually will elicit a response). i have tried 4 different chargers with no effect (NOTE: all chargers are functioning). currently my computer isn't recognizing it as connected so i can't do anything that way. Technically this is a hard brick but i do believe its reversible. i have taken it into the store and they were unable to do tests in shop and told me to try best buy (NOTE: i can't stand best buy). i have already tried a factory reset and all the basic things i could think of. if anyone has any ideas on this please let me know.
-No water damage
-No fall damage
-No bootleg os or modifications
-No known virus
-No issues up till this point
-out of warranty by a week or so
-upgrade in a year

I also am experiencing the exact same thing on my note2, I went into isell and they used a JTAG memory stick which goes in your phone and basically it continues on with the bootloop.now he said my phone was dead and they cannot do anything to it. Maybe that's the solution. Hope i helped
