I came across this software update notification on my C2 after which i choose download and install. All went fine until the end when it finally restarted and gave a message" contact Service in white and the screen was a ll black. I tried to switch off but it was all non responsive. Now nothing comes on so am here to know if this is salvageable or I just forget it.

have you tried to take battery out, and re-insert into phone. What happens if you do that?

..Apparently yes, I recharged the phone just to be sure but even then, nothing came on the screen to show charging was in progress so after that I have removed & reloaded the battery, tried to power it but nothing comes on...
Then i would contact warrenty, because if the issue is data corruption or damaged certificate - it can only be fixed in a service center using a flash jig.

I am also facing this problem in my Nokia C2-00, I removed the battery and again inserted in the phone but it is not working, my phone is just showing white screen.
