It shouldn't.
However a cracked screen is usually the result of a drop. Dropping your phone can for sure cause the charging system to not operate properly.
Batteries are pretty cheap and easy to replace on those. I'd spend $8 on a battery and see if that fixes it.

I think a cracked screen can make an Android phone to start charging slowly especially if the crack is at the top. My phone fell down and the screen cracked, the phone immediately started charging slowly.

Cracked screen can let in water very easily too :)
Open it up and have a look :)
order a new screen and battery (that phone is probably in need of a battery anyway)
To test battery, do a full cycle and recharge
Write down the % every 20 minutes with the phone idle, it shouldn’t drop more than about 3% per hour
Then install a GPU benchmark and run on battery power, this is to check the battery can provide enough peak current when needed. If the phone shuts off or reboots during this test, the battery is no good

Yes and it has rainbow things on the corners and a big gray spot on top. What should I do? I really don't want to get another phone because it's a new one. But can a phone place fix it or?

this is more of a question than an answer, it sounds like the screen needs replaced

If you have dropped it from many times and it has cracked don’t buy a new phone you need to replace it with a brand new screen and or maybe you might most likely need to buy a new battery for your phone it doesn’t cost much I think but if it keeps dropping more a dragon I hope you know that instead we’re just caring around you every day you can just put it somewhere in a safe spot and then leave it be.
