How does the charging/docking port ribbon cable secure to the circuit board the ribbon cable seems like it was glued with epoxy or somthing .not sure ..way to small for solder..it was originally attached flat to the board...

The charging port ribbon cable comes with it's own adhesive, so it can be glued on.
You can see the link of dock connector flex cable replacement, the area with blue film is where the adhesive on.

I had to remove the motherboard to check this out the other day. It is soldered to the board. Not glued.
