Wifi antenna wire color
I am just wanting to know what color the wifi antena wire is Is it the white one or the black one I am wanting to add an external ariel

Here is an image link that should help you with your question. This is the wifi assembly for the playstation 3. So it should be the black cable. If you have any further questions please come back and we will assist as soon as possible.

Cool thanks for that But I have a new super slim model and wifi antenna is different to that In one vid I seen the guy says the black wire as well But seen another and they say the white one
I spose if I just disconect one put back together and see what stoped bluetooth or wifi then i know what one is what :-)
lol whoops, ok yes, I would say try unplugging the black cable first. It would make more sense to keep the standard with the same cable, and the white one should be the bluetooth antenna. sorry about that!

It is the white wire in the super slim 500gb model I have it was written on the motherboard :-)

Are the antennas clipped on or soldered on?

It's the white wire and it clips on. I use a small 14 db gain antenna for mine. I get 92% signal from 200ft. :)
