Does anyone have a good source (an Apple service manual would be ideal) of instructions for taking apart a 23" Apple HD Cinema Display (Aluminum)? I've poked around online but haven't found anything great. Thanks!

Once inside, check the VR3 3.3VDC REGULATOR center pin to make sure it is putting out 3.3v, bad one will put out about 4vdc. It is very common problem with this 23" aluminum case.

Hi
I have a blank screen (No Lights or display) I have followed your advice and tested the VR3 Regulator. Center pin is 1.96 DCV and Right pin 5.1. Assuming this show that it is faulty I was wondering the part number i should order and maybe where you were able to source it.
Also being surface mount is there any issues with DIY or would it be worthwhile finding a new board.

Add me to the list of people needing a dissassembly guide. My new-to-me display has mould on the inside of the screen :( Heartbreaking.
