Unknown Error (1) when restoring.

Hi, so I bought an iPhone 4S to fix and sell. It was on iOS 6.1.3 when I received it and it appears to have had some water damage. I replaced the LCD and the power button cable and everything was working fine. Then I decided to update to iOS 7. I did a restore and everything appeared to be going smoothly, but once the restore reaches "Restoring iPhone Firmware," I receive Unknown Error (1). Now I am stuck in recovery mode and receive the same error (same on other computers I've tried; Mac & PC) every time.

I've tried:

- Every suggestion on Apple

- Scrubbing and soaking with alcohol

- Switched the charging port for a new one

Maybe I can replace an IC to fix the problem? I don't know, any advice?
