Battery shows it is 97% Charged but not working?
Hello, I am still working on the Macbook Pro that has been damaged by a fall. Like I said in previous posts. The screen does not work, just goes to white then black screen. It runs on a external monitor. No keyboard or trackpad working so I am using a blue tooth keyboard and a mouse. Usb plugs work.
I need to plug in to outlet to run the computer even though after downloading coconutBattery 2.8 it is recognizing the battery, showing Current Charge, Maximum Charge 97% and showing Current Capacity and Design Capacity 97% information is reading correctly as far as model and age etc. If I disconnect the magsafe then it shuts off it needs to be plugged in an outlet. I was wondering if anyone would know any information about this. I will probable send the logic board out to be serviced in the next week or so.

I've voted to merge this post with your original - best not to have multiple pages of questions separated from each other for the same problem. Please use the UPDATE post feature, or, comment to your O.Q. or particular answer instead… by doing this you'll get/keep all help in one place.

It will cost a lot (new case and display) to make this machine work… better to part it out and take that money, along with what the replacement/repair parts would cost and buy a new(er) machine.
