The display of my iMac do not work properly, so I'm looking to find a replace: can I use a 21,5" display from another version or not? Now I found a 2428 display but I'm not sure it can fit to my 2308...

Nicola Tomasi, the late 2009 iMac LCD is part number 661-5303 and is most likely a LM215WF3(SL)(A1) panel. The EMC 2428 is a mid 2011 iMac and the part number for the panel is 661-5934. they do not look compatible.
