Not powering on, or pasting post

I have a gateway NV7317u laptop that will not power on. I have checked the power button for issues(damaged wires or board). I have tried changing the ram and even taking the HDD out and trying to boot it. The Power light will come on when the power button is pressed, the fan will spin up and then stop, and the HHD will spin up and keep spinning even tho the screen is completely blank. No backlight no image in the back when shined with a flashlight, and no external moniter. I have left it on to see if it heats up( cpu/gpu) but the system doesn't heat up, Any help on how to fix it??
