Wont boot and restore
i replaced the screen on my iphone 2 months ago. Every now and then my phone would restart. It all of a sudden shut off and wont turn on. The only way it will turn on is if it is plugged it. If i unplug it, it will shut off immediately.... I let it charge for 2 hours and it does the same thing.. The screen wont ever turn off when its plugged in. I tried restoring it and i got a error 21. Ive tried restoring on 3 different computers with 3 different ips. I replaced the batter, and even took it completely appart and it does the same. Apple support knows nothing about it and want me to pay 200 for it. I want to know if there is anything i can do..

michael, you say you tried everything for error 21 but do not tell us what that is:-0 Try this navigate to Local Disk (C:/Windows/System 32/Drivers/etc and cut the hosts file out and paste it on your desktop. Then exit iTunes, reopen it, and you should be able to restore. When finished, cut and paste the file from the desktop back to its original location in /etc. Also check these and tell us what you tried:" Custom firmware restore fail (PwnageTool since 4.1). You have to put your device into the DFU mode and not into recovery mode. Device won't boot correctly an stuck at the Apple logo after the error. Press and hold power and home button until it reboots.
Error when using Sauriks server for a restore with iOS 5.x in the recovery mode at least on a A5 device.
This error can also happen when you try to restore an iPod with hardware dfu. Use iREB r5 to solve this.
You are trying to update to a beta firmware without UDID activation. "
