Projection shows black & white flakes?
Projection image shows flakes when viewing. Flakes increase every on/off cycle. Almost unviewable. Any suggestions?

PWILLIAMS, sounds like your DLP chip is failing. It literally has thousands of tiny mirrors on it and each "flake " you see is a mirror failing. This is a known problem for this model and Mitsubishi had at one time a program, to cover 1/2 half of the repair cost. You may want to contact them on here. If not, then use this guide to replace this chip. Hope this helps, good luck.

Thank you, very helpful. Once i gained acces from side panel only thig left was projection. A relief to know
