New digitizer won't work
I have an ipad 2 that had a cracked digitizer so I decided to replace it before I gave it to a family member (I didn't bother to read any guides btw) I had that family member find an ipad 2 digitizer off the Internet so that I could replace it. I had never taken apart an ipad before, only an iPhone, so I didn't realize the wifi antenna was at the bottom. After breaking the antenna, I carefully detached the old digitizer and the LCD. After replacing everything, I then realized the digitizer wasn't working. The home button and power button worked of course but I couldn't swipe anywhere on the screen to make the ipad do anything. So I switched the new screen with the old one to see if it was just a defective digitizer. Neither of the digitizers worked. As I was taking the digitizer off the initial time, I didn't see the release flaps for the digitizer, so I ended up carefully pulling the "hook ups" out, so maybe I shredded something somewhere that I can't see. I really hope that's not the problem. I don't know what to do now, besides order a replacement wifi flex cable. I need help bad! Please and thank you!
