How to build your own using parts from 3g

Hello,

I have an old Iphone 3G that is still fully functional. However, I intend to switch to a 3GS by building one for myself.

As the two models are very much alike, I was wondering what components from the 3G can be used to build the 3GS.

I already know that the display and motherboard don't work:) So how about the others?

Also, is there any workaround for the display to work on the 3GS? As far as I see it's only a connector problem.
