Do you have the Procedures on Replacing a touchscreen for this device?

I have been replacing LCD's and Touchscreens for some time on several devices.. I have never touched an LG Optimus G. I have the new Touch Screen right now. I have looked at it and it doesn't seem to bad. Would really like to see how you all would do it. Please Help.. Thanks,

Rick

I just finished one! I've been doing phone repairs for about 4 years now after experience with PC's, laptops, etc. and I usually try to find anything that will help me know what I'm going to be dealing with before I start a repair - USUALLY being the key word! I don't always open up electronics that I don't own without some sort of research but I have been known to dabble in blind repairs so don't try what I do unless you're prepared to deal with unexpected damage! - but I had no choice as I found absolutely NOTHING on this phone except a random video of somebody starting halfway through the repair on YouTube which is the most frustrating thing I can imagine...either show the full repair or at least go back over what you did before you started recording!

Okay sorry about that I'm done ranting and on to the next part of my post. I can post pics (or a video if somebody really wants it) of me disassembling and reassembling the LG Optimus G (LG LS970.)

Please let me know if anybody is interested!

@James, when you work on yours, take lots of pictures and create a new guide. Use this page http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/new to teach us how to do the job. It would really help.

Rick Ramsey, I did not realize that this was still an issue, somebody found your question and opened it up :-) Anyhow, there is now a Device Page, scroll all the way down to Documents and click on the Disassemble guide. It does have all the information that is needed. Hope this helps, good luck.

@oldturkey03 Thanks for your reply, I was about to take it back apart but I see your new post and that guide is perfect! I don't think I can make a disassemble guide as well as LG so I'm going to move on and maybe there will be something soon that I can help make a guide for :)

If anybody has a specific question I can take some detailed pics in the next couple of days of a specific part before I return the phone to it's rightful owner!
