How do I get a damaged screw out?
Hello. Some repair dude damaged the screw that hold the battery connecter. How do i get that screw out? I cant use a screwdriver..

I tried Screw Extractor Set for stripped screws on the back of a 2014 Macbook Pro and found them useless. Also, no instructions included. Do not recommend.
I'm referring to iFixit's 4PC Screw Extractor Reversible Set which did not get the job done. Maybe something from a different source would be more effective?
Haven't tried it myself, but maybe filling the damaged screw head with instant glue before using a driver or extractor would help. Careful not to get the glue beyond the edge of the screw head, between screw head & case!
what worked for me on the back of a mac portable was to put a thin drill bit in and use some pressure and run the drill in reverse (unscrew). The drill bit actually broke so it had a flat end with the thread. Luckily, the flattened drill bit worked quite well for 2 stripped screws and didn't damage the threads in which the damaged screws sat. I suppose a screw extractor in place of the drill bit would work with the electric drill too??
