Yes, these new washers are VASTLY different. It takes some getting used to, for sure. Four (4) suggestions have helped me: use the PowerWash wash cycle (water fills the tub), use the Bedding wash cycle, wash larger loads of clothes and do not accept the auto-sets (push your own buttons).
The PowerWash wash cycle is designed to fill the tub with more water and to agitate the clothes more. Note that the water is auto-set to warm. The Bedding wash cycle will fill with more water also. The larger loads helps the washer to fill to a level where the large fins of the agitator are actually used, thereby moving your clothes around more. Not accepting the auto-sets allows you to control more on your own. For example, use DEEP FILL, ''not'' the auto sensing. In this way, you solve the low water/sensing issue.
