The part you puncture the k-cup into on the bottom you will need to blow through it to clear the coffee grinds out of it. The puncture part on my keurig for the bottom part removes from the system and is two pieces that makes one part. I remove the bottom then blow through the part that leads up to the sharp metal that punctures the bottom of my k-kup. Hope this helps.
