Laptop possibly breaking chargers, is it worth fixing?

Texto:

I have a laptop that has recently (possibly) killed two of my chargers.

The reason i think so, is because a lil while ago, i plugged in a usb rgb led strip into it, that has caused overvolt issues on my desktop's motherboard. At the time I didn't realize the strip was faulty, and basically functioned like a sort of usb killer. After putting it into my laptop, it started randomly crashing every now and then, especially when the camera has been on for a few hours, like during video calls. The laptop works mostly fine, but has now killed two chargers.

I've read somewhere that issues like these can be resolved by replacing the battery.

What i wanna know is; is it worth getting a new battery, or should i stop using my laptop altogether?
