Is the "View 2" model capable of compass operations?

I just got a new Blu View 2 model phone. I tried to download several compasses into it, and all of them said it was not capable, because the magnetic sensor isn't present. Is there a way to use GPS or Wi-Fi or something to cause one to work from an app?l
