I wonder if It would work, to put a Logicboard from a 2018 MBP into a 2016 MBP. Is there any general rule of Logic-Board inter-compatibility between model years?
My biggest concern so far is the pairing to the T2-Chip.
Background: I have multiple 13"-MacBook-pros. All with Touchbar and 4 USB-C/TB-Ports, but they come from different years (2016 to 2018) and some have hardware issues or just look very worn. Thus I would like to transplant Logic-Boards from worn/defective Macbooks into other less worn and well working MacBook bodies.
