Your simplest solution would be to get a Universal 9.5 or 12.5mm SATA 2nd HDD/SSD Hard Drive Caddy for the CD/DVD-ROM Optical Bay. Carefully remove the SSD from the laptop, not damaging the main circuit board, and install it in the caddy.
