There are a few housekeeping items i would check before turning to proper samsung support. Below are a few:
* Have you tried repairing to your old phone or an old android phone lying around?
* If you managed to pair it, have you been able to update the firmware on that watch?
* What new phone are we dealing with here?
I will say, daily driving an Apple watch myself, i wouldn't know much about the nitty-gritty or any specifics. However i always recommend doing some googling first before turning here as it saves precious time waiting for a response (Of course if google can't find anything the people here are happy to help)
