Follow [guide|1875|this guide], but at step 16, after taking the rubber pads off, clean the black part with a Q-Tip covered in isopropyl (or rubbing) alcohol. Reattach the screen and battery, turn the console on, and press the rubber pad down on its accompanying contact. Does it work?
