The larger plastic needle threaders for hand sewers won’t work on a sewing machine but those little silver devices with the fine loop will go in the eye of a sewing machine needle. Just make sure the needle in the machine is as high as it will go and the foot is down. The devices I’m talking about usually come in little sewing kits for the purse, but many craft stores will carry them and also Walmart.
