Why won't my iPod turn on

When i was flash modding my iPod, i put the flashboard into the connector and then the screen flashed the apple logo for like half a second. Now i can’t get it on, its non responsive to any button, it doesn’t take charge. have i killed it? or is this fixable? thanks
