Hi! I had the same issue as you, but it was not due to a magnet. Since this is the first post that kept popping up in my searches and I difficulty diagnosing, I’d like to include this solution here for other people who are having the same issue as myself. It seems to be that there is some glitch with how the Windows 10 Hotspot feature works with Acer computers:
My Acer Aspire E5 576G laptop kept dropping and reconnecting every 15-30 seconds or so. Go to '''Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi''' then scroll down to '''‘Hotspot 2.0 networks’.''' Toggle the switch for ''‘Let me use Online Sign-Up to get connected’'' to ‘'''Off’.''' My internet has worked since.
