It seems like almost nobody manages their books on their computer. Isn’t that easier? Download to your computer where you can keep a million books if you want, all easily organized in folders and subfolders, just how YOU want it, not how almighty Amazon deems it. Or use a flat land type of organization where things are tagged so you can have one title in more than one category. Of course none of this control is available on portable devices and if it was their storage capacities are so limited for most of us not blowing $1000 on a depreciating phone that will be worth 1/3 of that soon.

Once on your computer attach a USB cable and transfer to your tablet/ereader. How difficult is that? Keep a folder/subfolder system on your computer identical to your portable device so you can keep track of everything and sync things with a backup program if you want. Isn’t it easier to manage your life on a 24-30” screen instead of a 5-7” screen?

And who buys books/music/movies? There are MILLIONS free online on torrent sites and free download sites. Only an Apple fan could possibly be so dense as to flush their money down the toilet by buying ANYTHING online then telling the world. For the odd book that is good, mention it on social media or send a donation direct to the author showing your appreciation. Because you know 95% of books written these days are regurgitated drivel. As for movies, think back and ask yourself how many hours you’ve spent watching them and what good it did you. If you’re a thinking individual you will come to a very sobering, stark conclusion. Almost none benefited us. They are a pitiful excuse for escape we use way too much. And its only getting worse and worse as people don’t face reality in their lives. Often having your internet disconnected is the only thing that can wake people up.
