My ex-boss had a 2012-MacBook Air and she spilled coffee all over it in 2014. It went completely dead, couldn’t boot up etc. She asked me to find a way to erase it and get rid of it for her. But i was too busy to deal with it and had kept it on the back-burner…

Fast forward to 2019…

Today (31 Aug 2019) i finally got the urge to work on this MacBook Air and see if i could get into its hard drive via target disk mode to erase it and then trade it in somehow. To my surprise, IT BOOTED UP AS IF NOTHING HAD HAPPENED!!!!! So for some reason, without having done anything, except to just let it sit for 5 years, it heals on its own!!!!!!!
