It could be because of the new update has “locked’ the phones screen because it was a 3rd party screen and not a “apple screen”. I have seen it happen too many times. If the screen is not cracked, take it back to where it was replaced and have them swap it out with another screen and make sure it works.

sometimes if the screen is a poor quality, any single drop will cause it to become unresponsive
