I dont have solution but I have same laptop and the touch screen capability is not working.

I read elsewhere the issue is also the screen cable but I think maybe Toshiba doesnt sell that part.

Nowadays the screen is a bit more fussy and will only work when partially extended.

Anyway now I try to replace the battery maybe that fixes als my touchscreen problem
