It also is extremely difficult to find a replacement ( you can get them from online places like Alibaba as well as Aliexpress etc. just not your common hardware store etc.)since these are only to be changed by “authorized personnel. In the past I uses a harvested cord from a small heater and replaced the whole cord. Of course, test the cord with a multimeter first to ensure if that is your hair dryers issue
