I wonder if this will work for you. GIve it a try since you got nothing to loose. In Windows, go to Start>(rightclick)My Computer>Manage>Device Manager>USB Controllers. You might find a little yellow triangle.Stay there. Open up a file browser, and look for "usbaapl.inf". It should be in your 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE' folder. Make a note of where that file is, right Click on the caution sign in the device manager, and click 'update driver'. Use the advanced mode. Check the box, and tell it to look in your 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE' folder. It should pop up saying that it found it. You will be asked for a .sys file in the same directory. Show it the way. Now you've got that driver. It'll ask you for a different driver. Do the EXACT SAME THING. It will ask for yet another driver. DO IT AGAIN. Aee if that makes a difference . I believe there is also some software out that might be of assistance to you. iBrickr might help you to get it restored. Good Luck and let us know how things are progressing.
