Hi, my GE Profile Microwave (PEB7226SFSS)-- 2 years old-- does not start after closing the door maybe 1 in 5 times. Reopening the door and closing it seems to fix the problem. Door seems to latch fine.
It seems to more reliably work closing it a certain way, with a certain amount of force. Would this be the door sensor going out? Why would closing the door a certain way help prevent the sensor from not working?
It is cabinet mounted, so would like to troubleshoot as much as possible before removing it. Anything else to try before I replace the door sense? Also I see talks of 2 sensors, but looking, I only see 1 in the lower latch area.
Thanks,
Todd

NOTE: light turns off when door closes, but when you press Add 30 Seconds, the display shows paused.
