I have had the same problem with 2 successive iPhone 6s'. My contract is with Vodaphone and when I upgraded to an iPhone 6s in December last year, people I phoned kept telling me that I was very faint and kept cutting out. Vodaphone therefore replaced the first one with a second iPhone 6s. This has exactly the same problem. The normal microphone (next to the earphone jack) seems to be the problem because if I use speakerphone it works OK. However I don't want to be using speakerphone all the time. I have therefore been trying to get Vodaphone to replace it with a phone of a different make but they have refused to do so. Really lousy service and I cannot recommend Vodaphone to anyone on the basis of this experience. I would be very interested to hear if anyone else has the same problem.
