Usman Rasheed  like mathiasaat  stated, check the drive on another computer first. Sometimes there is a possibility to recover the data by replacing the HDD controller board. This will only work if the drive did not suffer a mechanical failure. In case of mechanical failure you will need the tools and knowledge that data recovery companies have (very expensive). To change the controller board, take a look [guide|67695|on here.] Different drive, same idea.
