Henge broken on flat iron. Can it be fixed?

I'm not sure if that's the right terminology for it, but the henge that holds the two titanium plates together is broken. The flat iron itself works perfectly fine. I just can't use it because the henge that lets you easily close and open it is broken. Can it be fixed?
