Hey guys,

Try this simple fix, it worked for me.

Go to your "wifi settings".  At the bottom right of the screen on the P8 lite there is a three line button.  Hit that and go to "Advanced settings".  Go to the option for wifi when asleep or whatever it is.  Enable "ALWAYS" there and then reboot your phone.

For some reason this worked.  I think it's an OS permission issue or something.
