Do a hard reset with these steps:

1. boot into recovery by shutting off the device, then pressing volume down and power at the same time

2. use the volume keys to move the cursor to select factory reset and power to select

3. the device should reboot automatically

If the problem persists which is rare, you will have to reflash the firmware with fastboot.
