Home Button does not Fit Into New Screen

| Purchased a screen to replace the broken screen on a phone that I am repairing. When I went to seat the home button from the old screen into the new screen, it will not fit. I wish I could give more of an explanation, but the home button just won't fit into the space provided. It either sits on something on the top that I can't see so that it is at a diagonal angle, or it does that on the bottom. Any ideas of what is causing this or any solutions? I am supposed to have the phone finished in an hour. |
