Daniel Helms, anytime you have a certain area on the touch screen that is unresponsive, suspect the digitizer. It is not always necessary to haveThis problem can occur without a cracked, cracked or otherwise damaged digitizer. It is goodgood practice to try a factory reset etcetc., but if this does notthat doesn't work, you should replace the digitizer/displaydigitizer or display assembly. Since the digitizer and the LCD are fused together, you will require aneed an LCD separator and other tools to repair it. Replacereplace the digitizer. Replacing the complete display assembly will make the task easier. HopeI hope this helps, goodhelps. Good luck.
