I purchased a Mac Mini 2.3Ghz Intel i7 with 1TB drive from the Apple store last October. According to disk utility my Mac Mini has the standard fit Apple 1TB drive fitted to the UPPER bay, which seems to be unusual. As I read the instructions it would seem that fitting a new drive to the lower bay - the one closest to the antenna plate - is actually simpler. However where do I get the mounting screws, shielding material and is the lower drive cable different in shape / length than the upper drive cable? I found somewhere that there is two different cables, the Upper HD Flex Cable (076-1413) and the Lower HD Flex Cable (076-1412) so it seems they are different.
