iPod Touch 4th Generation: Install LCD and Digitzer as 2 pieces?

I ordered an iPod off of eBay, with a small chip taken out of the digitizer. Knowing that the LCD and the digitizer are fused together originally, I have a question about the repair. Could I order the two OEM parts separately (digitizer, and LCD) and install the two parts together to fix the screen, thus making a potential break easier to repair in the future?

I replaced a cracked glass on my Ipod touch 3rd g. I bought frame glass and digitizer( probably too cheap), easy to replace after watching videos, it's not working and I tried testing if I accidentaly damaged the LCD and my question is this: does the LCD supposed to work without top glass and digitizer or will not respond without them???

So the volume/ power button flex cable arrived today. I went over the tear down tutorial and started the repair.

I'm at the part where you slide the flat tool under the copper backing to loosen the battery but the docking port and speaker section of the logic board don't seam to want to move? all the video's make it look like it slide's out like pizza!

I am really worried that the docking port and the speaker are glued down. And a little cheesed off!

I thought the hard part would be the soldering and just looking at it it hard to say weather this thing will fit back together.

my ipod needed a new battery, so i took it to the "Fix-a-Phone" in my local shopping mall, after the phone repair "Specialists" replaced the battery, i tested all my buttons, and the Volume Controls as well as the Sleep/Power button were non-responsive, i asked the guy who fixed it about it and he said he couldn't help me because he didn't even go NEAR the buttons, i called a BS on that and now i don't know what tool(s) to fix this iPod P.S. I NEED TO HAVE IT FIXED BY CHRISTMAS 2011, HELP!!!!

After powering off the apple logo cycles off and on until the battery is drained. The apple store tried resetting to original factory setting and did not fix the problem.

iPod Touch 5th Generation: Why does my iPod say the battery is dead?

I replaced the battery in my iPod touch. Before reassembling it, I made sure it turned on and everything was fine. When I reassemble it, there is no power and it says the battery is dead.

Every time I tear it down it powers on, as soon as I put the security plate on, it shuts off and says dead battery

My Ipod's battery was dead so i bought a new battery for replace it. I removed old battery properly then tried to place new battery. Everything was good until i try to connect battery cable to motherboard with solder. There was too solder so i want to rip off. When i want to rip off this situation ocurred. It can be fixed? If is to be, i will get new one battery

iPod Touch 1st Generation: Error 1604 during jailbreak?

My cousin gave me a 16 gb iPod touch 1st gen and I decided to jailbreak it (before I fixed the screen) and I used whited00r 6. Everything was working until the end of the installation where itunes opened a window that said: error 1604. I tried again in a different port because that's what it told me to do. same thing happened again and I ended up having to wipe it (nothing of value was on it anymore).

Should I use another system to jailbreak it?

Hi. I have the ipod touch 5 16gb (16GB, no camera). I only have a front camera and lately I need a back one! I really need yall to please tell me if u can put in a back camera with AUTO FLASH , on the Back of my IPOD!:) and I can easily go on the camera application that came with the ipod and use it to change the front/back camera and turn on the flash for back! thanks bye:) if so answer me on this and tell me If u can and the price.
