iPhone SE: iPhoneSE rebooting after battery replacement

The original battery in my iPhoneSE stopped holding charges after 3+ years, and regularly showed battery empty (red) icon in the middle of the display. I got the iPhoneSE repair kit that included a new battery, but found the suction cup insufficient to pull the screen off (despite various suggestions posted on the forums). I ended up buying the iSlack device, which worked much better. Eventually, I was able to replace the battery (with difficulty in re-assembly … especially the very last step). However, when I tried to charge the phone, the phone kept rebooting with Apple logo briefly showing on the display.

Hello.

i just completed the battery replacement for my Iphone SE. The phone appears to have no power. I am not even getting the connect to charger icon. Is this normal? Do the replacement batteries come without a charge? or is it possible/likely that some connection came loose in the reassembly process?
iPhone SE: iPhone stuck in Recovery Mode

Hey all! So, several months ago, my phone started respringing every couple minutes, for no apparent reason. It got to the point where I couldn’t use the phone for more than ten seconds without it going black, so I tried to restart it a couple times and eventually ended up putting it into Recovery Mode. However, when I tried to update it from iTunes, I got various errors telling me that I needed to restore it instead. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a recent backup of the phone, so restoring it wasn’t exactly an option, and you can’t back up a phone while it’s in Recovery Mode. So, I tried to get it out of Recovery Mode to back it up, but it wouldn’t exit. I’ve tried every solution from the Apple website and numerous third-party applications to get it out, but nothing has worked. It’s been stuck in Recovery Mode ever since, with me unable to get my data off of the phone. Today, I decided to try disconnecting the battery to see if anything would change- unfortunately, it didn’t work. Do you have any ideas of what I could try next to get the phone into a state where I can back it up?

iPhone SE: Possible IC chip damage?

Some days ago I put my iPhone SE to charge overnight with a MFi certified cable and a random usb wall plug, as I didn’t have the original charger around that day, but I thought having a genuine cable was enough to prevent possible damage to the device.

The iPhone had still a good percentage of battery left when I put it to charge at night, but the next morning it was completely dead, while still connected to the charger. No power up, no low battery indicator, doesn’t get recognized by iTunes.

The cable and usb charger aren’t damaged and still work with another device. I’ve opened the SE and did some tests with a multimeter, and here’s what I got so far:

No obvious signs of damage inside the case, neither inside the lightning port

The battery voltage is 3.4V; I replaced it two months ago with an iFixit battery so it’s highly unlikely that could be the problem. Anyways I disconnected it and connected the old original battery (which probably no charge, but had a voltage of 3V) but no signs of improvement

With the phone connected under charge, the multimeter reads 0V from the pins inside the battery connector socket

All this makes me think the Tristarchip is damaged and so there’s nothing worth doing to the phone, as sending it to repair this kind of problem would probably cost more than another used iPhone SE now. However I still want to exclude any other possible culprit; for example could the cause be the lightning dock instead?

I’d like to know if in your opinion is the port or anything else worth checking or replacing, before spending 30$ for a new port that might be better invested in buying a new phone; or if these symptoms indicate almost certain chip failure.

To clarify, I’m no expert in iPhone internal electronics besides having done some basic replacements, and know about the tristar stuff from reading about it in the past days.

Thanks in advance!
