iPhone 8 Plus: iPhone 8 Plus touches go crazy (ghost or no) after screen replacement

I have iPhone 8 Plus with broken screen. Have changed it to eTradeSupply screen, after one day the screen gone crazy - there is no touches at times, ghost touches at times, sometime all is good. Original broken (glass) screen was working good. I have tried hard reset and etc. Obvious advice everywhere is to change screen to another one, however there is a little twist -> the screen is perfectly working with out any problems if you open the phone (so the screen part is not closed/connected with the rest of the phone), looks like the flex cable might be a problem (bending?) or is anything else may cause that? Any thoughts?

Hello dear

My i phone fall on water , and home button broked

Then stuck on apple logo and kep restarting ,,

I did restore from i tunes then it works, but for sure home botton not working cuz its broken ,

Then i phone work supper good ,, and when i switched off the same problem happen agian stuck on logo and keep restarting , then i have to connect to i tunes and restore it agian , what can i do to fix this issu ??

iPhone 8 Plus: Replacing back glass over the camera bracket

We finally got this back glass off from the Iphone 8 plus, but now we cannot seem to fit the new piece on over the camera bracket... Is there any trick to this? The camera bracket is a little bit larger than the piece we are putting on.. Online videos have not helped...please respond..need to get this phone out of the shop

iPhone 8 Plus: 8+ Old screen works (kind of) new one doesn't

My iPhone 8+ suddenly only showed an unstable half screen (vertically) so I could only see the right side. Bought a new one from iFixit. I have experience replacing these so I have some confidence I am doing it correctly.

The new one is DOA. Put the old one back and it works but with the same problem as before. Put the new one in for a second time, nothing. Put the old one back in again and it works as before.

Did the volume up/down power trick and held for two minutes — nothing. Any ideas?

Hi everyone, I have an 8 Plus that I recently did a charging port replacement on. After the replacement, the taptic engine started to act up. The entire phone would vibrate very strongly and the mute switch would make a grinding noise. I replaced it with a new engine I got used from eBay and it still has the issue. Could that be an issue with the charging port? Thanks in advance.

Updates iOS 13.2.2 and now WiFi option is greyed out and Bluetooth has spinning wheel with no options. Had issues with diversity antenna being loose but WiFi still worked until I did the update. Heard different answers on parts to replace. I replaced the top center antenna, which is called by different names. Each shop telling me the top center will fix the WiFi issue and the diversity antenna just helps with signal loss. More concerned about Bluetooth, can get by without WiFi till my phone contract ends!!!

My home button gives me nice vibration feedback, but nothing else in the system does, flicking the mute switch mutes, but does not vibrate, done a factory reset to see if that would help too. Any help from here on would be great. I have also tried another taptic engine too, which didn’t sort it. I’m stumped.

iPhone 8 Plus: Silent button not working

Silent button is not working, but if i press and put pressure around the top speaker (probably where the silent connector is inside the phone) it works, if i let go it wont work.

is it a bad silent connector, could the battery be expanding inside (no real signs that the case is opening at this moment) .

I have an Iphone 8 plus. The microphone does not work in whatsapp or facetime calls. Sometimes you can hear static on the other end. Regular phone calls seem to work fine.

I accidentally dropped my phone while I was walking and I did not notice it. But after 30 seconds into walking, I noticed my phone wasn't in my pocket so I looked back and seen a car ran over my phone. I went back to pick up my phone but I seen no cracks or marks on the phone but it just won't turn on! Can someone help me!

I had to settle for a Silver iPhone 8 Plus on Black Friday; I really wanted the Space Gray, mainly due to the black front panel and home button, but they didn't have any. I don't mind the "silver" (more like pearlescent white) back, but I'm having a hard time getting used to the white front. I know I could put a black skin on the front, but there's still the matter of the home button being white, plus I'm not sure how to use a glass screen protector and a skin at the same time.

Is it possible to swap out the white front panel and the white home button/fingerprint scanner for the black versions without having to also replace the LCD itself? If so, how much are the parts, and is it something I could do myself with the right tools (I have no experience repairing cell phones, but I'm good at following directions and know to use basic tools.) Also, where would I go to order the parts? Apple?

Hello, I changed back glass of iPhone 8 plus. after changing it, I have a new problem which says NO SERVICE (with “!” mark inside a triangle ). I cannot receive or make calls or access any data until i make an update. I checked it in apple support and it says there is a problem within, so i need to fix it. iPhone 8 Plus: Where can I get parts decently priced?

I've got an iPhone 8 Plus in Red, it's got everything but the screen and battery. The housing is bent and the back is smashed so that needs replacing. I've managed to find all parts I need, except for the camera lens cover, I can find them just not in red! I did find one listing on eBay that has the lens already attached to the glass back, but they won't ship outside of USA which is a problem as i live in NZ..

So is there anywhere else I can get a glass back with lens cover on it, or just the red lens cover? I want to stick with the red just in case i decide to sell it in the future, although I'm planning on using it as my work phone. Or is it possible to just replace the glass lens bit, and i reuse the red frame from this one?

I have mostly been looking on eBay, Aliexpress and TradeMe (nz only equivalent of ebay), but can't find exactly what I'm after.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

your iphone cannot make and receive calls or access mobile data until it has updated.
