iPhone 7 Plus: Why are my front and back cameras and flash not working after repair?

I did a battery replacement for my iPhone 7 Plus and I plugged in the new battery and screen to make sure the battery worked, I turned it on and it worked, i forgot to turn the phone off or unplug the battery before I plugged in the front camera connector and it rebooted as soon as i plugged it in. When it came on, everything works except the cameras and LED. I opened it back up and made sure it was connected well but to no avail. Top speaker and proximity sensor both still work though.

iPhone 7 Plus: Cant Replace Battery Without Fixing Speaker!

I wanted to replace my phones battery as it was saying under the battery health section on ios that it needed service and was running at 78% of its peak performance. Costing only $75 AUD I took it to an authorized service center and they ran a mandatory diagnostic on the phone showing that my “speaker receiver” needed replacement/fixing as well.. They also said that they cannot replace the battery without fixing the speaker issue first. Ive had no problems with any of the speakers on t the phone nor has my voice clarity been affected over calls. However since the speaker is somehow connected with the screen according to them, I will need to do a screen replacement as well. (which costs $200+)

Is it possible to just get the battery replaced without fixing the other “issue”?

iPhone 7 Plus: Home button stops working 24-36 hours after screen replacement

I replaced a cracked iPhone 7 Plus screen with an iFixIt replacement. Everything worked after putting phone back together. The next day the home button stopped working. I tore the phone back apart to check for a loose cable or if anything looked wrong. Everything seemed fine and put the phone together and everything worked. Now a day and a half later the home button stopped working again. Is this any issue with the replacement screen? I don’t think its a problem with the cables because it initially works.

iPhone 7 Plus: swap logicboard from my broken phone into a working phone to get data?

Hi,

I have an iphone 7 plus that has a shattered screen and bent body and the apple store wouldnt replace the screen for that reason. I do not have an iCloud back up and want to get my data off of that phone.

Based on a few other questions, I understood that if I just replace my logic board from the broken phone into my wife’s working iphone 7 plus I should be able to get the data from it. However, Now that I have replaced the logic board, the phone comes on, screen lights up with Apple logo for a while then for a split second on the screen I see, “iphone is disabled”, and then the screen goes dark. Nothing shows on the screen. if I turn the mute switch on/off I can hear some buzzing but pressing the home button is not doing anything. Pressing power does not do anything.

If I hold the power button and volume down button to reboot it and then Apple logo appears again…

What am I missing? is there any other components that I need to replace along with the logic board to get it working enough to back it up to iTunes and get the data out of my phone?

Short version: Replaced logicboard into a working phone now it doesn’t work, phone lights up for a split second, screen shows ‘iphone is disabled’ message, screen doesn’t seen responsive, goes dark right away. What am I missing?

iPhone 7 Plus: iPhone keeps restarting after screen replacement

A friend came to me with an iPhone 7 Plus that was jammed in a car door. The screen shattered and there was a bend in the phone too. The phone still worked entirely, I could make phone calls, take photos with the forward facing camera. I decided to replace the screen. I have replaced screens in the past but never a 7 Plus. After putting the screen on, it worked. But I found the phone would restart every 1-4 minutes. Boot up time was normal. After a while I realised while using the phone (in home screen) the phone would not restart, but when sitting unused (lock screen) it would. Because it wouldn’t restart when being used, I was able to update the phone to the latest iOS. But still had the problem. While making sure everything was tight I realised again that the phone would not restart while the screen wasn’t attached to the body directly (with still being attached with the cables, not screws and either on the home screen or lock screen) but a soon as I attached the screen to the body (at least clipped it in), it would continue its restart loop.

I have read that it had something to do with the digitiser, camera assembly, something near the earpiece of the phone. Is this possible?
